Three drawers in a column 26.25 inches high and only 10.5 inches deep, woven from paper rope stained black and coated for protection. Cutout handles replace hardware entirely, so the front stays a continuous woven surface broken only by the openings themselves.
Each drawer front opens through a cutout rather than a knob or a pull, which keeps the woven face unbroken and leaves nothing projecting into a narrow hallway. It also means there is no fitting to work loose over years of use, since the handle is part of the drawer itself.
Natural paper rope takes a black stain here, a finish that reads as woven texture rather than flat paint and sits comfortably in contemporary and transitional rooms. A protective coating over the rope is what extends the life of the weave, guarding the fibers in a bathroom or an entryway.
A depth of 10.5 inches keeps this chest tight to a wall where a standard dresser would not fit, and the 26.25 inch height stacks three drawers into that small footprint. Linens, toiletries, or magazines each take a level, so one piece sorts what would otherwise share a single basket.
Six-piece black magnet set of four hinges and two handles that gives a steel garage door carriage-house detailing.
Six forest green fabric cubes with grommet pulls, each 11 inches square for standard cube shelving.
