Forest green takes a shelf of open bins out of the utility category and into something closer to furniture. Six cubes come in the set, each 11 inches on every side, with poly-woven fabric over chipboard walls and a silver grommet at the front for pulling a full one out.
A forest shade repeated six times along one bookcase reads as a band of color rather than six separate containers, and it pairs with oak, walnut, and cream without the brightness that white bins bring to a room. Transitional and minimalist spaces absorb it easily, since the tone sits closer to foliage than to paint.
Strong poly-woven fabric covers chipboard panels on the sides, which is the reason a loaded cube keeps its square corners instead of bowing outward on the shelf. The same construction stays light, so lifting a bin of books or art supplies down from a high shelf does not become a two-handed negotiation.
A silver grommet handle sits centered on each front face, giving a finger hold that pulls a bin straight out of a tight opening instead of forcing a grip on the rim. The metal ring also marks the front of each cube at a glance, keeping six identical bins oriented the same way across a shelf.
Six-piece black magnet set of four hinges and two handles that gives a steel garage door carriage-house detailing.
Set of six Carolina blue storage cubes sized at 11 inches, shaped to drop into open shelving units.
