Heathered yarn gives the light gray face a flecked textile depth that flat-dyed bins lack. Six cubes arrive, each 11 inches long, wide, and high, sized for the cubby openings in shelving units and closet towers. Polypropylene fabric wraps cardboard reinforcement, and nothing sits over the top.
Flecks of darker and lighter fiber run through the polypropylene, which is what separates a heathered surface from a solid one: marks and dust read less sharply against the mottled face. The tone lands between white and charcoal, so six of them in a row suit traditional, transitional, and minimalist rooms without committing the shelf to a color.
With no lid to lift aside, a bin can be filled from a standing position and emptied the same way, which matters for books, toys, and the clothing that circulates daily. Dropping an item in takes one hand. Nothing stacks on top of these, so each cube stays its own open bay inside the cubby that holds it.
Sturdy cardboard reinforcement sits behind the fabric on every panel, which is why an 11 inch cube keeps its corners when loaded with accessories rather than bowing at the middle. A metal grommet at the front gives the finger hold for sliding one out of a shelf opening and carrying it to wherever the sorting happens.
Six-piece black magnet set of four hinges and two handles that gives a steel garage door carriage-house detailing.
Six forest green fabric cubes with grommet pulls, each 11 inches square for standard cube shelving.
