Four inches of height is all the clearance most beds offer, and that is exactly what these three bags are built around. Each measures 16 inches long by 13.25 inches wide, slides into the dark under a frame, and shows its contents through a clear panel set into the lid.
A rectangle of clear plastic is set into the top of every bag, so the stack of sweaters inside gets identified by sight rather than by unzipping and digging. The rest of the shell is polylinen, which blocks dust from settling on wool shoulders while the three bags wait out a warm season beneath the bed.
Soft-sided poly canvas lets air move through the bag instead of sealing knitwear into still, trapped air for months. The same fabric has no hard interior edges, so a loose thread on a cable knit is far less likely to catch than it would against the molded rim of a rigid plastic bin.
The two-tone silver and gray shell keeps the set looking deliberate in the moments it is visible, such as under a bed on a raised frame or stacked on open closet shelving. Three matching bags also make one season of knitwear easy to find as a group rather than scattered across the house.
Six-piece black magnet set of four hinges and two handles that gives a steel garage door carriage-house detailing.
Six forest green fabric cubes with grommet pulls, each 11 inches square for standard cube shelving.
