Bottles need height rather than width, and 13 inches of it here clears a standing wine bottle or a tall glass measuring up to 12 inches. The chest spans 18 inches wide by 14 long, so a dozen travel together from a home bar to a table.
Thirteen inches of height is what separates a bottle chest from a plate chest. Wine bottles stand upright inside rather than lying down and rolling, and glasses measuring up to 12 inches tall fit the same space, so a home bar can pack bottles and stemware into one container before a party.
Capacity runs to 12 bottles or glasses, roughly what a dinner party needs, inside a shell 18 inches wide by 14 long. Carrying that load in a single hard-sided chest beats making several trips with bottles tucked under an arm, and the reinforced riveted handles are built for the weight involved.
The windowed front shows which bottles and glasses are packed where, useful when more than one chest is stored together before an event. Gray fabric with black trim keeps the box neutral on a basement shelf or in a closet, and the hard sides hold their shape through repeated loading.
Six-piece black magnet set of four hinges and two handles that gives a steel garage door carriage-house detailing.
Six forest green fabric cubes with grommet pulls, each 11 inches square for standard cube shelving.
