Fifty-seven inches of door height goes unused in most kitchens and bathrooms. This rack claims it with six baskets stacked on a lightweight metal frame, 8 pounds to a basket and 50 pounds across the whole unit, projecting only 6.25 inches into the room.
Six plastic baskets ride the frame, each rated to 8 pounds and the unit as a whole to 50. That division is what makes the rack usable: spices on one level, toiletries on another, craft supplies above, with each basket holding a weight a single hand can manage when it comes down.
Two sets of hooks come with the rack so it can be matched to the thickness of the door it hangs on. Getting that right is what lets the door still close flush, and because nothing is screwed into the surface the rack can move to a pantry, bathroom, or craft room later.
Depth measures only 6.25 inches, so the rack sits close to the door panel and stays out of the swing path in a narrow kitchen or bathroom. The frame itself is lightweight metal running 57 inches tall and 19.25 wide, which uses the full height of a standard door without touching the walls.
Six-piece black magnet set of four hinges and two handles that gives a steel garage door carriage-house detailing.
Six forest green fabric cubes with grommet pulls, each 11 inches square for standard cube shelving.
