Parallel bars move on their own, so one person can pull out a single bar for a damp towel while the others stay folded against the door. In a bathroom used by several people that separation keeps towels from touching and gives each one air on both sides to dry.
Installation replaces nothing permanent: the unit is designed for standard 3.5 by 3.5 inch door hinges with a pin no thicker than 8mm, so it should be measured against the existing door before starting. Two people make the job faster and more accurate, since the frame has to stay aligned while the pins seat.
