Pink is the decorative choice in this family of lidded boxes, aimed at glam and contemporary bedrooms where storage is expected to look like part of the scheme. Thick linen-look fabric wraps fiberboard sides, a base, and a lid, giving each 11.4 inch cube rigid walls under a soft surface.
The surface carries a visible linen texture rather than a flat dye, which keeps the pink closer to a furnishing fabric than to plastic. Against a mirrored dresser, brass hardware, or a white melamine closet system, two cubes in the same tone register as an accent chosen on purpose and not as containers brought in to cope.
Fiberboard panels form the sides, the base, and the lid, so each box keeps square corners when shoes or folded jeans push against the walls from inside. Chromed grommets ring the handle openings, spreading the pull across the fabric and adding a small metallic line that picks up other polished fittings in the room.
At 11 inches high the cubes stand upright in cube shelving, line up along a closet shelf, or slide into the gap beneath a bed frame, which is where spare shoes and off-season accessories usually belong. With the lids on, the stored contents stay out of sight whichever of those three places the pair ends up.
Six-piece black magnet set of four hinges and two handles that gives a steel garage door carriage-house detailing.
Six forest green fabric cubes with grommet pulls, each 11 inches square for standard cube shelving.
