Mug handles are the first thing to break in a stacked cupboard. This box gives 12 cups a compartment apiece inside a tray 5.5 inches deep, so handles never press against neighboring rims, and the front panel is clear enough to identify the set without opening it.
Dividers split the interior into 12 compartments, each sized for a cup, mug, or glass, which means nothing is nested and nothing rests handle to handle. Taking one out leaves the other 11 undisturbed, so a set stays complete across holiday parties and the stretches of storage in between.
The window sits on the front face rather than the lid, so a box stored at eye level still reveals its contents without being pulled down. That placement is what keeps labeling unnecessary when several of these sit side by side holding different sets of glassware.
Sturdy siding in gray, bound with black trim and fitted with reinforced riveted handles, gives the box a neutral face for a cupboard, a basement shelf, or a closet. The 13.25 by 15.5 inch footprint stays wide and shallow, which keeps the loaded weight low and the lift balanced.
Six-piece black magnet set of four hinges and two handles that gives a steel garage door carriage-house detailing.
Six forest green fabric cubes with grommet pulls, each 11 inches square for standard cube shelving.
