Flute-style glasses are the awkward ones: tall, narrow, and easy to chip against each other in a cupboard. This gray box gives 12 of them a compartment each, stands 9.75 inches high, and shows which set is inside through a window in the front panel.
Each of the 12 bays holds one flute on its own, so stems never rest against neighboring glass during the months between gatherings. The divided interior also means a single glass comes out without the rest being shifted, which is how most chips and hairline cracks begin in a stored set.
Both handles are reinforced with rivets rather than stitched alone, the difference that counts when a box of 12 glasses gets lifted down from a high cupboard or carried out to a car. A sturdy frame holds the walls square underneath, so the compartments keep their shape while the box is in motion.
Measuring 11 by 14.5 inches on its base, the box stacks with others of its kind when stemware is put away for the season, then folds flat once the glasses come back into use. That means the storage itself does not occupy a shelf year-round waiting for the next occasion.
Six-piece black magnet set of four hinges and two handles that gives a steel garage door carriage-house detailing.
Six forest green fabric cubes with grommet pulls, each 11 inches square for standard cube shelving.
