Light blue textured fabric over fiberboard gives this pair of cubes the look of linen and the structure of a box. Each measures 11.4 inches square and 11 inches high, comes with its own lid, and sets up by opening the body and inserting the base panel.
A chromed metal grommet rings the handle on each cube, which keeps the opening from stretching where the fabric takes the pull. That one piece of hardware is the difference between a bin lifted off a high shelf by its handle for years and one that tears away at the slot.
Fiberboard panels line the sides, base, and lid, so a closed cube holds its square shape and supports the one stacked above it. With lids on, shoes and off-season clothing stay dust-free beneath a bed; with them off, the same bins work as open shelf storage for daily items.
The thick linen-look fabric carries a soft baby blue that sits well against white shelving, pale wood, and the painted furniture common to farmhouse and contemporary rooms. Two matching cubes read as a deliberate pair on a closet shelf rather than as whatever containers happened to be at hand.
Six-piece black magnet set of four hinges and two handles that gives a steel garage door carriage-house detailing.
Six forest green fabric cubes with grommet pulls, each 11 inches square for standard cube shelving.
