At 7.5 inches tall this is the shallow member of the tapered range, built for things that should stay in reach rather than packed away. The top measures 13 by 10 inches and the base 11 by 8, a slope that lets the bin settle onto a crowded shelf.
Handles are wood dowels in a maple finish, warmer in tone than the gray cloth and firm enough to take the whole bin in one hand. Because they project from the short sides, the bin lifts square rather than tipping, which keeps loose scarves or cables from sliding out during the trip.
Height is the point of this size: at 7.5 inches the bin fits under a low shelf and keeps its contents visible from standing height, so nothing gets lost under a layer. That shallow volume suits items in frequent use, where a deep container turns into a pile with other objects resting on top.
The walls taper from a 13 by 10 inch opening down to an 11 by 8 inch bottom, which lets the bin pass between brackets and settle into a cubby that would reject a straight box. A metal frame inside holds the mouth open while lightweight linen-like fabric keeps the whole thing easy to handle.
Six-piece black magnet set of four hinges and two handles that gives a steel garage door carriage-house detailing.
Six forest green fabric cubes with grommet pulls, each 11 inches square for standard cube shelving.
