Heathered gray reads as texture rather than flat color, which keeps a row of six cubes from looking like a stack of plain boxes. Each bin measures 11 inches on all three sides, the standard cubby dimension, and swallows books, toys, folded clothing, or loose accessories behind a quiet front panel.
Polypropylene fabric in a heathered gray gives each bin a flecked surface instead of a solid block of color, so six of them along a shelf behave more like upholstery than packaging. The tone sits easily in traditional, transitional, and minimalist rooms, where a bright bin would pull attention toward the storage and away from the furniture around it.
A metal grommet ring is set into the front of every cube, giving one finger enough purchase to draw a loaded bin out of a tight opening. Metal holds that shape longer than a stitched fabric loop under repeated pulling, which counts on the bins that come down from a shelf several times a week.
Cardboard inserts stiffen the sides and the base, so a cube packed with hardcover books keeps its square outline instead of bulging against its neighbors. Open tops mean nothing has to be unfastened to look inside, and the 11-inch interior matches the shelf openings built into most cube furniture and closet systems.
Six-piece black magnet set of four hinges and two handles that gives a steel garage door carriage-house detailing.
Six forest green fabric cubes with grommet pulls, each 11 inches square for standard cube shelving.
