This is the dinner plate box in holiday coloring: red canvas, green trim, and a 12 inch square footprint underneath. Twelve plates up to 11 inches in diameter sit inside with felt protectors between them, and the hard sides carry handles rated to 25 pounds.
Durable hard-sided walls carry the shape, and the lid comes off entirely instead of hinging, which leaves the 12 inch square opening clear for lowering in a full stack of plates. Nothing has to be angled past a lid still attached at the back, a real difference when the load is china.
Felt protectors sit between the plates and do the actual work of protection, cushioning the contact points along the rim where chips and cracks begin. Twelve plates of up to 11 inches in diameter go in this way, which covers a full service for a holiday table in one container.
The handles are rated to 25 pounds, a figure worth knowing because a dozen dinner plates is heavier than it looks once the box itself is added. A viewing window on the front identifies the set, and the red canvas with green trim marks it as the seasonal china rather than everyday stock.
Six-piece black magnet set of four hinges and two handles that gives a steel garage door carriage-house detailing.
Six forest green fabric cubes with grommet pulls, each 11 inches square for standard cube shelving.
