Navy reads as a dark neutral on a shelf, deep enough to hide what is inside the cube and settled enough to sit in a living room. Both boxes measure 11 inches high, wide, and deep, with removable lids and grommet handles on the front face.
A run of open cubbies looks unfinished until something fills it, and two navy boxes give that wall a pair of solid dark squares. The color holds up in an office or a closet where files, cables, and paperwork would otherwise be visible from the doorway, and it hides handling marks better than pale fabric.
Height, width, and depth all come to 11 inches, the opening most cube furniture is built around, so each box fills its bay without a gap at the side. Any face can go to the front, so the grommet handle can be turned outward whichever way the box happens to land on the shelf.
Both boxes collapse when the contents move elsewhere, so a reorganization does not leave two rigid crates to find homes for. With the lids in place they stack instead, which is the other half of the arrangement: covered storage in a garage one month, open bins on a bookshelf the next.
Six-piece black magnet set of four hinges and two handles that gives a steel garage door carriage-house detailing.
Six forest green fabric cubes with grommet pulls, each 11 inches square for standard cube shelving.
