One large tray at 12.6 inches square and two smaller ones at 6 by 12 inches make a starting kit for a drawer that has never been organized. Inserts lift out, so each tray can be run as open space or subdivided depending on what ends up inside it.
Every tray in the set takes inserts that can be pulled out entirely. With them in place, small items get fenced into sections; with them removed, the same tray becomes an open box for a folded sweater or a coil of cables. The layout can be changed later without adding anything new.
