Water hyacinth is a thicker, more textured weave than paper rope, with visible natural variation in each strand. The set covers one large basket at 16 by 14.5 by 6 inches and two smaller ones at 12 by 6.5 by 5.5 inches, all built on lightweight metal frames.
Each basket is woven by hand from water hyacinth, a natural fiber with a coarser grain and warmer color than paper cord. That texture reads well in rooms leaning organic or coastal, and it holds up to being handled: pantry shelves, closet floors, and laundry rooms all suit the material.
A removable poly cotton blend liner sits inside each basket, smoothing over the natural weave so knitwear and towels are not snagged by the fiber. Liners come out and go into the wash, which keeps the set usable in a bathroom or under a bench by the door where dust settles.
