Seagrass woven by hand gives these two trays a coarse natural surface, finished at each end with a solid wood handle. Both measure 15.75 inches long, 9.75 wide, and 3 high, and the pair nests together when not in use, so an idle set takes roughly the depth of one tray on a shelf.
A handle of solid wood is fixed at each end of the tray, rigid rather than woven, so a loaded tray can be lifted level and carried without the contents sliding to one side. Those handles also give a grip clear of a wet counter edge, which is useful when the tray is carrying soap bottles or a teapot.
Sides rise only 3 inches, enough to contain bottles, candles, or folded hand towels without walling them off from view. When the trays are not in service the two nest together, which is the point of matching dimensions: an idle set occupies roughly the depth of a single tray on a kitchen or bathroom shelf.
Each tray is handwoven from natural seagrass, so color and texture shift from one piece to the next and neither will match a photograph exactly. That variation is what makes the pair sit comfortably in farmhouse, boho, coastal, and rustic lodge rooms, where uniform factory surfaces tend to look out of place beside real wood and linen.
