Six inches wide and 15.75 long, this woven basket is shaped for a narrow run of shelf: the back of a toilet tank, a pantry edge, a ledge behind a sink. Natural seagrass keeps the tone neutral, and 4 inches of side height holds the contents in without hiding them.
Width stops at 6 inches while length runs 15.75, a proportion built for the leftover strips of a room: the top of a toilet tank, the front edge of a pantry shelf, the ledge behind a sink. Cans, dry goods, and spare toilet paper line up single file there instead of spreading across a surface.
Four inches of height is enough to hold odds and ends in place while leaving labels and contents readable from standing height. Nothing has to be lifted out to see what the basket holds, and the low walls mean the basket itself still reads as a decorative accent when it sits mostly empty on display.
Natural seagrass keeps to a narrow band of tan and straw tones, which is why the same basket moves between a living room, a bedroom, and a bathroom without being restyled. The woven fiber brings texture rather than color, so it sits easily with painted wood, tile, and upholstery already in place.
