Pale beech against a black bag is the whole design idea here, a two-tone contrast that reads as intentional in a modern bedroom and as plain practicality in a farmhouse laundry room. The cloth top conceals about two loads, and the bag comes off the frame entirely.
The frame is beech, a hardwood pale enough to keep the piece visually light, and the bag hanging in it is black poly-cotton. Dark fabric hides the marks a hamper collects over years of use, and the pairing suits rooms built around black fixtures, matte fittings, or dark bedding.
The bag lifts clear of the frame rather than staying attached, so the trip to the machine happens in cloth and the bag goes through a wash of its own afterward. With the bag out, what remains is a wooden stand, which is the entire storage problem solved in two steps.
Dimensions settle at 17 inches deep, 19 inches wide, and 30 inches high, a narrow rectangle rather than a square, so the hamper fits the strip between a dresser and a wall. The concealed top keeps two loads invisible in a bedroom where a hamper has to stay in plain sight.
Single large canvas tote, 22 inches wide, with a vinyl-coated interior and long reinforced handles that clear a shoulder.
Folding bamboo drying rack with 11 dowels and a flat shelf for sweaters, opening to 29.25 inches wide.
