Paper rattan woven in black and white runs across all four tiers of this shelf, so the pattern reads as the main event and the wood frame underneath stays hidden. It stands 39.5 inches high on a footprint of 11 by 19 inches, narrow enough for an entry wall.
Black and white paper rattan alternates through the weave on each of the four levels, producing a graphic pattern rather than the uniform tan of plain basketry. Darker tones let the piece lean transitional or farmhouse depending on what sits on it, while the geometry keeps it at home in eclectic boho rooms.
Underneath the weave is a solid wood frame, which is what carries the load of four loaded shelves and keeps the tiers from flexing. The paper rattan wrapped around it does the decorating, intricately handwoven so the surface stays textured to the touch as well as patterned to the eye.
A footprint of 19 by 11 inches keeps this tower against a wall in a hallway or bedroom where a wider bookcase would block traffic. Across 39.5 inches of height the four tiers hold framed photographs, folded linens, or the small household items that otherwise end up on a kitchen counter.
Round coffee table 31.5 inches across with a rustic ashwood top and black steel legs crossing at midpoint.
Weathered multi-colored trunk, 29 inches long, closing with an anchor clasp over board games and blankets.
