Rather than the usual scissor pair, this board plants four legs made from 32 mm tubing, which spreads the weight over a wider base. On carpet the feet sink evenly instead of tipping, and on tile the frame stays put when a heavy steam iron is pushed across the far corner of the 59 inch top at full pressure.

Fiber Pad Under Polyester

Between the steel top and the polyester cover sits a 6 mm fiber pad, thick enough to cushion buttons and zippers so they do not emboss the fabric above them. The pad resists heat and scorching, and the cover on top of it shrugs off spray starch and water stains that would mark a thinner cotton layer.

Sleeve Board And Hanger Bar
