The natural cotton liner lifts out with the load, so the walk to the machine happens without dragging the whole hamper along. Once emptied, the bag goes into the wash itself, an option hard-sided bins do not offer, and it drops back into the bamboo frame ready for the next round.
Gaps between the bamboo slats keep the interior from sealing shut around damp towels and gym clothes, the usual source of a musty closet. Bamboo is a renewable material and stays light for its strength, so even a full hamper moves easily from a bedroom corner to the laundry room.
