A lift lid turns the top of this cabinet into a seat, and the cushion that comes with it makes that seat worth using. Inside, the single bay takes roughly one load of laundry. Decorative inset side panels and a horizontally slatted door keep the exterior looking like furniture.
The smooth top panel lifts to open the hamper bay, and the included cushion rests on it the rest of the time, which is what lets a laundry container double as somewhere to sit while lacing shoes. Closing the lid hides the contents and restores a flat, upholstered surface.
Horizontal slats run across the door front while decorative inset panels detail both sides, millwork touches that pull the piece well away from utility bin territory. In white, it reads as a small cabinet at the end of a bed or against a bathroom wall rather than laundry equipment.
Measuring 13.375 inches high, 20.875 inches wide, and 19.18 inches deep, the cabinet holds approximately one load, which covers the stretch between washes for one person. The low height slides under a window ledge or a wall-mounted towel rail where a tall hamper would collide with it.
Single large canvas tote, 22 inches wide, with a vinyl-coated interior and long reinforced handles that clear a shoulder.
Folding bamboo drying rack with 11 dowels and a flat shelf for sweaters, opening to 29.25 inches wide.
