Six open cubes in crisp white, held between airy wire side panels: the construction is deliberately thin, so the shelf carries books and plants without adding visual bulk. At 45.75 inches high and 13.25 deep, it sits below the sill of most windows.
Six open cubes replace the single long shelves of a conventional bookcase, which gives each group of objects its own frame: a run of paperbacks in one, a plant in another, a stack of folded linens in a third. The divisions keep a display from merging into one undifferentiated row.
Instead of solid side walls, white iron wire forms the outer panels, letting light through and keeping the silhouette open from any angle. In a small bedroom or a home office that transparency is what prevents a shelf of this height from walling off a corner, and it suits minimalist and Scandinavian rooms.
The body is engineered wood accented with white iron, and natural variations in wood grain and texture come through the finish, so the surfaces are not uniformly flat. That slight irregularity keeps a white piece from looking moulded, and it reads as a property of the material rather than a defect.
