Nine inches tall and 18 across, this woven resin piece reads as a low coffee table in front of a sofa and as extra seating when the room fills up. The smooth top rises slightly at the center, and iron accents reinforce a body banded in red, white, and blue.
The crown is smooth and gently domed rather than flat, a shape that sheds crumbs and gives the basket-like body a finished line where the weave ends. Resin construction with iron accents means the surface takes a wipe-down after a sunroom afternoon, which matters for something doubling as a footrest and a drinks table.
Color arrives in horizontal bands rather than a print, so the pattern comes out of the weave itself. Against a neutral sofa or pale patio furniture the three tones carry the whole accent, which places the piece in coastal and bohemian rooms as easily as in a child's play space where bright color is already the rule.
A 9-inch height puts the top well below a standard chair, suiting it to children, to feet, and to trays rather than to adult dining posture. That low profile keeps sight lines open across a small living room, where a taller ottoman of the same 18-inch diameter would interrupt the view of the room beyond.
Round coffee table 31.5 inches across with a rustic ashwood top and black steel legs crossing at midpoint.
Weathered multi-colored trunk, 29 inches long, closing with an anchor clasp over board games and blankets.
