The vertical measures 3 inches in diameter, a heavier gauge than a standard clothesline post, and galvanized steel handles the rain and sun that come with permanent outdoor duty. The white finish keeps it from reading as industrial hardware in a backyard that people also sit in.
The crossbar reaches 46 inches across, spreading the lines farther apart than a narrow arm allows.
