Rated to 200 pounds as a seat, this barrel-shaped piece is stronger than its 17-inch frame suggests, because tightly handwoven paper rope wraps a metal structure underneath. Grey weave keeps it neutral, and at 19 inches high it lands between stool height and side table height.
The 200-pound limit applies when the piece is used as a stool, and that number is what decides whether a woven barrel stays decorative or works as genuine seating. A strong metal frame carries the load while the rope weave stays tight around it, so the body keeps its barrel curve under weight.
Paper rope in a chic grey wraps the whole exterior, and the profile curves outward through the middle like a barrel rather than running straight up. The cool tone pairs with slate, white, and washed wood, which puts it in contemporary and transitional rooms as readily as a boho corner.
Three uses come out of one shape: a side table beside a chair, a low stool pulled out when extra seating is needed, or a planter once a liner goes inside to keep soil and water off the weave. It also holds up outdoors in a sheltered spot, which few side tables manage.
Round coffee table 31.5 inches across with a rustic ashwood top and black steel legs crossing at midpoint.
Weathered multi-colored trunk, 29 inches long, closing with an anchor clasp over board games and blankets.
