Stacked pots rarely come apart without the whole pile moving. Two basket tiers here slide independently on full-extension ball bearings, so lids sit on one level and the pots they belong to on the other, each reachable without unstacking anything. The frame spans 20.75 inches of depth.
Each tier travels on its own set of full-extension ball bearing slides, which means the lower shelf can come forward for a stock pot while the upper one stays put, or the reverse. That separation is the whole point in a cabinet where cookware and the lids matching it have to live in the same bay.
Basket-style sides hold tall pots upright and stop lids from sliding off the edge as a tier moves, while the open grid keeps every item visible from the cabinet doorway. Chrome-plated steel takes the weight of cast iron and saucepans and wipes down when a greasy pan lid leaves a mark behind.
The polished chrome finish reads as a fixture rather than as furniture, matching the stainless appliances and metallic hardware already common in modern and contemporary kitchens. In a dark lower cabinet the reflective surface helps as well, throwing what light there is onto the back row of the 14-inch-wide tiers.
