The engineered wood body wears a Mid Century Walnut laminate whose warm brown tone works with tapered-leg furniture, brass hardware, and rooms built around wood rather than paint. Three dark grey linen-blend drawers punctuate the front, a deliberately deeper grey that reads as a contrast band across the walnut face.
Ten cubbies along the base hold the shoes in rotation, open at the front so damp soles can dry and nobody has to lift a lid to grab sneakers. Above them, the three drawers swallow socks, dog leashes, keys, and cleaning tools, keeping the surfaces of the entry clear of loose items.
