White metal instead of black changes the whole character of an open bookcase. Three rectangular wood shelves in a light, subtly rustic finish sit inside a slender white frame, 41.5 inches high by 23.75 inches wide, light enough visually to stand in a small bedroom.
The frame is drawn narrow and painted white, which is why this unit disappears against a pale wall where a dark frame would draw a hard rectangle. That lightness suits Scandinavian and minimalist rooms, and it keeps three loaded shelves from dominating a space built on soft, low-contrast color.
Depth of 11.5 inches is enough for paperbacks, folded linens, and small decor while keeping the shelf tight to the wall in a bedroom or home office. Open on every side, the unit reads as an outline rather than a volume, which is what prevents it from overwhelming a modest room.
Engineered wood supplies the three shelf surfaces in a light coastal tone with a subtly rustic finish, while iron handles the structure. The pairing gives rustic warmth on the parts that are touched and modern strength in the parts that carry weight, across 41.5 inches of usable height.
Round coffee table 31.5 inches across with a rustic ashwood top and black steel legs crossing at midpoint.
Weathered multi-colored trunk, 29 inches long, closing with an anchor clasp over board games and blankets.
