Two cedar frames arrive together and can be used either way: stacked into a double rack for a taller closet floor, or separated into two singles for a pair of narrow spaces. Each measures 29 inches across, 12 inches deep, and 5.5 inches high in an unfinished natural tone.
Set one frame on top of the other and the rack doubles its capacity within the same 29 by 12 inch footprint. Pull them apart and each half can go under a different hanging section, into a hall closet, or beside an entry door, which makes the set easy to rearrange as a closet changes.
The rack is built from natural eastern red cedar rather than coated particle board, so it holds up to daily loading and carries the aromatic oils the wood is known for. Left in its natural finish, it releases the familiar cedar scent into a closed closet while doubling as the surface shoes rest on.
Slats run the full 29-inch length, letting shoes point toe-out for quick identification or heel-out to keep toes tucked away from a walkway. Loafers, sneakers, and flats all sit level at 5.5 inches off the ground, low enough that hanging hems clear the top row of the frame.
