Heavy cotton canvas gives the bag its shape when full and lets air move through the weave, which matters for wool and cotton knits that turn musty in sealed containers. The 12.25 by 14.5 inch base matches a folded sweater, so nothing has to be creased twice to fit inside.
The top panel is textured PEVA rather than fabric, so a stack of four bags can be read at a glance without unzipping any of them. The zipper runs along the edge for full access, and the window keeps dust off the contents while still showing color and knit texture.
