Antique bronze gives the steel frame a warmer cast than the usual black or white, which helps when a sorter has to live in a hallway or bedroom instead of a utility room. Four removable bags divide the wash, and casters at each end of the cart move it.
The finish lands on the warm side of metal, closer to oil-rubbed hardware than to chrome, so the cart suits transitional and traditional rooms where brass fittings and wood furniture set the palette. Assembly is straightforward, and the steel holds the four-bay frame square once it is together.
Each of the four bags carries its own handles, which turns a full bay into something that can be lifted straight out and carried rather than wrestled free. Those handles also hold a bag open during sorting, and every one of them washes cold when the fabric needs cleaning.
Smooth rolling casters mount at both ends of the cart, so a push from either side steers the load instead of dragging one corner across the floor. The frame measures 33.125 inches high by 32.5 wide and 15 deep, shallow enough to line up along a wall and roll out for cleaning.
Single large canvas tote, 22 inches wide, with a vinyl-coated interior and long reinforced handles that clear a shoulder.
Folding bamboo drying rack with 11 dowels and a flat shelf for sweaters, opening to 29.25 inches wide.
