Handwoven seagrass over a steel wire frame gives this sorter the look of a woven basket rather than a laundry fixture. Three interior compartments take lights, darks, delicates, or towels as clothes come off, and the attached lid drops over all of them at 28.35 inches high.
Natural seagrass is woven tight around the exterior in a gray tone, a surface with the texture of wicker and the slightly irregular pattern that comes with plant fiber. That earthy finish belongs in rustic and coastal rooms where rattan furniture, jute rugs, and weathered wood already set the tone.
Dividing the interior into three bays means the decision about which load a shirt belongs to happens once, at the hamper, and not again on the floor beside the machine. Towels can hold one bay while delicates keep another, and the categories stay whatever the household needs them to be.
A sturdy wire frame runs inside the weave and carries the weight, which is what keeps a 32.9-inch span from sagging in the middle as the compartments fill. Depth stops at 14 inches, so the sorter runs long and shallow against a wall instead of jutting into a walkway.
Single large canvas tote, 22 inches wide, with a vinyl-coated interior and long reinforced handles that clear a shoulder.
Folding bamboo drying rack with 11 dowels and a flat shelf for sweaters, opening to 29.25 inches wide.
