Height is what makes this center work in a narrow laundry room: 67.3 inches of vertical frame over a footprint of 31.5 by 17.3 inches. Three extendable bags handle the sorting, a lower shelf holds what the bags cannot, and the white laminate top finishes folding at standing height.
The top panel is smooth white laminate, a flat deck for folding shirts as they come out of the dryer rather than carrying them to a bed in another room. Laminate wipes down after a spilled capful of detergent, and the pale finish matches the white appliances and cabinet fronts common in utility spaces.
Each of the three bags extends, so a bay stretches to take a full load instead of filling halfway and stopping. Dividing linens, whites, and darks at the moment they come off means the pile reaching the machine is already separated, and the frame keeps all three mouths open side by side.
Assembly ends with a choice between casters and fixed feet, and the decision follows the room: wheels when the center has to roll clear of a dryer door, feet when it stands permanently in one bay. A lower shelf spans the 31.5 inch width below the bags for detergent, clothespins, or stacks waiting to be put away.
Single large canvas tote, 22 inches wide, with a vinyl-coated interior and long reinforced handles that clear a shoulder.
Folding bamboo drying rack with 11 dowels and a flat shelf for sweaters, opening to 29.25 inches wide.
