Six inches deep and 27 inches tall, this canvas bag hangs rather than stands, which removes a hamper from the floor plan of a dorm room or a narrow closet entirely. A metal rim holds the mouth open, and the patented hook sits over a doorknob or a rod.
A metal rim runs around the opening so the bag stays open instead of collapsing on itself, and the hook above keeps the whole thing upright and off the floor. Both parts come out when they are not wanted, which turns the hanging hamper into a plain canvas sack for travel.
The back of the bag opens along a full zipper, so laundry comes out through a wide panel rather than being dragged up through the top. Unzipped over a machine, the contents fall straight in, which matters when the bag has been hanging at shoulder height all week.
Heavy-duty canvas gives the bag enough body to hold a load with no frame behind it, and it goes through the machine in cold water when it needs cleaning. At 16 inches wide and only 6 inches deep, the profile suits the back of a closet door or a dorm wardrobe.
Single large canvas tote, 22 inches wide, with a vinyl-coated interior and long reinforced handles that clear a shoulder.
Folding bamboo drying rack with 11 dowels and a flat shelf for sweaters, opening to 29.25 inches wide.
